Hallo

beim ersten Bild kann man am unteren Rand gerade noch in der Mitte die Übernachtungsmöglichkeit im Valley of the Gods( ein engl. Ehepaar vermietet dort) sehen

Das ist dann wohl Lees Ranch.

(Obwohl ich eigentlich ziemlich sicher bin, dass diese Ranch näher am Anstieg zur Cedar Mesa liegt und - weil das Photo ja erst ab der ersten Kurve der UT 261 startet - daher ausserhalb des Bildes liegt?)

he he, Goosenecks, da campe ich immer direkt am Canyon Rim. Super genial
Zelt auf, Kamera raushalten, losknipsen zum Sunrise. Man hoert sogar den San Juan River in der Nacht.

Valley of the Gods ist ebenfalls super toll zum campen und auch kostenlos.

Rolf, tolle Bilder, die Raplee Anticline finde ich immer wieder toll.
